Don’t Hurt Your Skin. 2 Things That Guarantee Terrible Looking Skin
Great skin care is all about things you can do for your skin, but there’s some things you shouldn’t do to your skin.
There so many things you can do for your skin, and your skin’s overall health. And I’ve talked about these before.
However one of the most important basics of skin care is to know what NOT to do to your skin.
Skin is extremely sensitive. It is the largest organ in your body, and is the organ, or outer reflection of yourself that everyone sees. If your liver or your kidneys or your stomach are unhealthy most people probably won’t notice, unless they’re extremely perceptive perhaps.
But if your skin is unhealthy EVERYONE notices. Just ask anyone with pimples.
So to look great you need great looking skin. Here’s 2 things you must avoid if you want great looking skin.
1. Sunburn. Sunburn is one of the worst things you can do for your skin, especially if you repeat the experience regularly. At worst it can lead to skin cancer, at best it damages sensitive skin cells and leads to skin damage which will show later in life.
Cover up or use a good sunscreen, and stay out of the worst daytime sun.
2. Smoking. There’s so many parts of your body that are damaged by smoking, but it includes your skin.
You’ve probably heard how smoking damages the vascular system. Ie damages your body’s ability to transport blood. Well damaged ability to transport blood also affects your skin.
Because like anything else the continued supply of fresh life giving oxygen to your skin via your blood is essential to long term skin health.
So whilst there’s some things you must do to maintain healthy wrinkle free skin, like using the best skincare products you can get, there’s also some things to avoid.
And don’t forget good diet and plenty of exercise too. Read the rest of this entry
