Wrinkle Correction Treatments. Risky And Expensive
There are a number of modern wrinkle correction treatments. Should you use one?
So you’re getting older, and you’re worried about wrinkles. And you’re wondering about some of these so called modern wrinkle correction procedures.
Lets have a look at some of your options for wrinkle correction:
Botox.
Botox injections for wrinkles have been in the news a lot lately. Lets see what botox for wrinkles involves.
1. Who knows? Although no one really knows, I would expect that botox wrinkle correction isn’t a lifelong solution to wrinkles. No one knows because it’s a relatively new procedure. We would like to see some more data on the long term results of botox before we let anyone near our faces with botox filled needles.
2. Pain. Relatively obvious. They will claim it’s pain free, but injections in your face?
3. Cost. Botox has to cost a bomb. And as it’s unlikely that it will be a permanent solutions it’s likely that you will have to keep getting it done over time. More cost.
4. Safety. There are official warnings about the safey of botox and deaths linked to it’s use.
Cosmetic surgery.
Now of course you can always head off to your local plastic surgery center and find yourself a cosmetic surgeon who will do a face lift. It won’t be hard to find a cosmetic surgeon to do it, they make big money from cosmetic surgery like face lifts to correct wrinkles.
What are the risks of cosmetic surgery for wrinkle correction?
1. Pain. Enough said.
2. Cost. Plastic surgery will also cost you a bomb, and like botox it’s unlikely that it will be a lifetime wrinkle correction solution. You will probably need to have it done a number of times, and it will probably cost tens or hundreds of thousands over time.
3. Problems. Plastic surgery isn’t infallible, and there have been failures. And a failure can be very hard to correct, even by another plastic surgeon.
And a comment that applies to both cosmetic surgery and botox. Have you seen some of the very public failures of both botox and cosmetic facial surgery? High profile people who look disfigured both from poor cosmetic procedures and botox. Do you want to risk looking like that?
Cosmetic procedures like facial fillers and dermal fillers for wrinkle correction.
We have just been reading a review by the Medical College of Wisconsin about these wrinkle correction procedures. They involve using fine needles to inject chemicals just under the skin to help smooth those wrinkles and make the face look more youthful.
Usually they are applied to around a third of the face, mainly around the eyes, mouth and jawline. Chemicals like hyaluronic acid and other dermal fillers are often applied by a cosmetic surgeon, but you should be sure to find a good plastic surgery center if you’re thinking of getting it done.
All the same comments apply. Cost. How long will it be likely to last? What happens when it fails? What will you look like if it all goes wrong? And what are the risks of dermal fillers and facial fillers for wrinkle correction?
So if you’re looking for some serious wrinkle correction what do you do?
Firstly we think that you need to come to some acceptance of the fact that as you age you will look older. Undertaking some of the modern wrinkle correction treatments is highly risky and expensive, and it hurts. The risks outweigh the benefits.
And use high quality natural skin care and anti aging products and natural anti wrinkle products. There are some excellent ones around, that don’t use dangerous ingredients, and work well, guaranteed.
Don’t rely on big brand name anti wrinkle products. Most do little, and contain dangerous ingredients.
